The Catalyst Program of the UNSW PRAxIS Lab ( unsw.to/praxis ) is a continuing initiative that brings together problem owners, external partners, research institutions, and researchers from multiple disciplines to ideate, scope, and initiate interdisciplinary research projects with real-world impact.
This first session in 2026 focuses on the complex and interconnected challenges shaping the future of healthcare. It brings together researchers and practitioners working on holistic aspects of healthcare, from innovative care models and management approaches to emerging implementation science and social prescribing interventions.
Participants will engage with current priorities in this domain, explore immediate project and seed funding opportunities, and contribute their expertise to early-stage research initiatives with clear pathways to social impact. The session is designed to support new collaborations and advance rigorous interdisciplinary work on some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare today.
