Workshop: Screen Printing with Millie Mitchell
Join Millie Mitchell at UNSW Galleries for an intimate screen-printing workshop inspired by the captivating work of Sarah Contos.
In this hands-on session, participants will explore screen printing which is a key material process featured in Contos's kaleidoscopic exhibition, ‘Eye Lash Horizon’.
Throughout the workshop, participants will be guided step by step through the screen-printing process while working with specially created designs inspired by visual motifs featured in the exhibition. Participants will have the opportunity to collage design elements, and will leave with their own uniquely printed tea towel. (Participants are also welcome to bring a fabric of their choice – we recommend canvas or calico cloth).
