Day 1: Early Career Researcher Workshop

Date: 16th October 2024

Location: UNSW Sydney, Kensington Campus

Kick off the conference with a free Early Career Researchers Workshop. This is a unique opportunity to learn about interdisciplinary research, gain evidence-based insights, and network with peers and leading professionals in the field.  Following formal proceedings, attendees will have the opportunity to network over drinks and canapés. This event is free to attend.

DAY 2: Industry Forum

Date: 17th October 2024

Location: Calyx, Botanic Gardens, Sydney

Join us for an Industry Forum where experts will share real-world experiences, innovations, and strategies for addressing climate risk. Speakers include UNSW Vice-President of Societal Impact, Equity & Engagement Professor Verity Firth, Climate Change Authority head Matt Kean, Climate Scientist Professor Andrew Pitman, AO, FAA, ICRR Director Professor Ben Newell, Jillian Broadbent AC, Director of Macquarie Group and a Board Member of the Lowy Institute, and more!
