Have you ever wondered how scientists uncover the biodiversity of Australia’s ancient past? Join us for a guided tour of the Library exhibition Revealing Riversleigh, followed by a behind-the-scenes visit to the Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences Palaeontology Laboratory.

Learn how palaeontologists extract, prepare, and study fossil material to understand the evolution of Australia’s unique wildlife. The tour offers a rare glimpse into research in progress and shows how ancient specimens help scientists understand modern‑day climate change, biodiversity loss, and wildlife conservation.

This tour is part of the Revealing Riversleigh exhibition, developed by UNSW Library in collaboration with UNSW Earth and Sustainability Science Research Centre.

Please note: There will be a 5-minute walk between two university buildings. Elevators and accessible paths are available.

Please let us know of any accessibility requirements before the event by contacting lib.exhibitions@unsw.edu.au.
