Join the FilmSoc and UNSW Environmental Sustainability Manager for a special film screening event during Plastic Free July 2024. Start with pizzas, follow up with the movie and finish with a Q&A discussion and a chance to win a reusable Huskee cup.
The London International Film Festival awardee Alon (Wave) explores the various ways of mitigating the catastrophic effects of marine plastic waste as seen from the perspective of different surfing communities in the Philippines.
After the movie, we will disucss ways we can ditch plastic away, say no to single use and choose to reuse.

Make sure you get there at 6pm for pizza and a 6:30pm start for the movie. Also be sure to book your free spot so we can buy enough pizza and avoid waste!
