Join us for the first instalment of the 2020 Engineering the Future series presented by UNSW Alumni and Engagement.

Teams are recognised as a crucial component of every organisation and as the world continues to evolve at a rapid pace, the demand for high performing teams is more pertinent than ever.

Research has revealed to us time and again that the answer is: diversity. With any diverse team, we bring into the fold more viewpoints, different methods, and introduce a suite of expertise that drives collaboration and innovation.

How can we achieve more around this in the world of engineering?

Join UNSW alumna Associate Professor Lucy Marshall (Associate Dean, Equity and Diversity, UNSW Engineering) and industry experts for the first Engineering the Future of 2020. In a robust discussion, we will investigate how harnessing and cultivating diversity at every level creates a stronger workplace and greater opportunity for business success.

Joining the conversation:

• William Cox, CEO, Aurecon (BE 1988)

• Nilram Azadpeyma, Customer Engineer, Google Cloud (MEngSc (Extn) 2013)

• Professor Aaron Quigley, Head of School, UNSW Computer Science Engineering
