Professor Martin Van Kranendonk | Professor Carol Oliver | Professor Kathy Campbell | Darren Dougan | Brett Biddington
Moderated by Dr Indrani Mukherjee and Professor Albert Fahrenbach
Where did life come from? Is there life beyond Earth? And how might we find out?
Join us for a special public panel celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Australian Centre for Astrobiology (ACA) and exploring some of the biggest questions in astrobiology.
Bringing together experts in the origins and evolution of life on Earth, the search for life beyond our planet, space exploration, science communication and the development of astrobiology in Australia, the panel will reflect on 25 years of discovery and look ahead to what comes next.
The discussion will explore how our understanding of life and its place in the Universe has changed, the ACA's role in establishing astrobiology in Australia, and how the next generation of scientists and explorers might tackle some of these fundamental questions.
All are welcome, and no specialist scientific background is required. A free reception will follow the panel, offering an opportunity to continue the conversation and celebrate 25 years of the ACA with panellists, researchers, students and members of the community.
