UNSW Scientia Professor Veena Sahajwalla AO, will deliver her address: The Hidden Value in Our Rubbish: Communities, the Environment and the Science of Remanufacturing at the National Press Club, Canberra
Veena is a pioneering inventor and scientist, 2022 NSW Australian of the Year, and in 2025 was recognised with Australia Day Honours for her distinguished service to science. In this keynote, she will explore how public research can better connect with industry, policy, and community; transforming campus breakthroughs into real-world solutions that change the way we live.
