The UNSW School of Population Health invites you to a hybrid research seminar presented by Dora Gudmundsdóttir, Director of Public Health at the Directorate of Health in Iceland
Health is not created within the health system, it is created and lived by people within the settings of their everyday life; where they learn, work, play and love. Since decisions made for all these settings have an impact on health and wellbeing, it is important to have a systematic approach to evaluate this impact. In this talk, Dora will give some examples from Iceland and open up for further discussion on how the wellbeing economy approach can be developed further to enhance health and wellbeing for people and the planet.
