Join Professor Dan Rigby, from the University of Manchester, as he discusses the results of a discrete choice experiment on contract cheating among undergraduate students. The study surveyed 400 first-year students, with a shocking one-third indicating a willingness to buy essays. This lecture will delve into the factors that influence students' decision-making process, identifying three segments with different sensitivity to price and risk. Prof. Rigby will conclude the lecture by examining the impact of individual characteristics on latent class membership and the need for promoting academic integrity among our undergraduate students.

After the one-hour lecture, you are invited to stay for afternoon canapés, drinks and networking.
