FAIMS3 Project Introduction & Testing

The Field Acquired Information Management Systems (FAIMS) 3 Project will be holding a focus group on 31st March for researchers to try out the first release of our software for offline data capture.

We will begin with an introduction to the platform, and then road test a sample notebook on Android and iOS devices at various locations around campus. We will return to room 320 to edit records on the web browser.

We will also explore notebook design on the FAIMS3 platform. Starting with a tour of the options for notebook creation and support users to create their own notebooks.

Location: room 320, level 3, Chemical Sciences Building (F10), UNSW Kensington

What to bring: Your laptop and any Android or iOS device which started production in the last two years. If you have questions about specific models, contact us in advance. If you do not have a handheld mobile device, an Android will be provided on the day. You will also need to bring any existing data entry sheets or workflows to model during the day.
