UNSW Library invites you on an astrobiology virtual field trip to search for the origins of life. This virtual reality experience travels to the Pilbara in Western Australia, a globally significant site where ancient rocks preserve some of the earliest evidence of life on Earth. The journey continues onto Mars, where you will explore the rugged alien terrain of the Red Planet in the hunt for evidence of extraterrestrial lifeforms.
This virtual field trip is part of The Infinite Look exhibition, developed in collaboration with UNSW PVCE Media & Immersive and the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences.
This event is organised by UNSW Library Special Collections & Exhibitions team.
This experience will involve using a virtual reality headset. Please take care if you have any sensitivities to motion and light. There will be professionals supervising the event and assisting users with equipment.
