Senior Lecturer at the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering“Dr. Baran Yildiz is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE), UNSW. Baran's research is multi-disciplinary, and he works within the Collaboration on Energy and Environmental Markets team. His research focuses on the integration of consumer energy resources (CER), and he has led various projects including Project CICCADA (ARENA), SolarShift (RACE for 2030) and PLUS ES South Australian demand flexibility trial (ARENA) collaborating with the key industry partners of Australian energy sector. Baran’s research has been translated into real-world products benefiting consumers and made policy impact by leading rule changes in Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC).”
