Commercialisation & Collaboration Masterclass

This masterclass aims to deepen participants’ understanding of university commercialisation pathways and industry engagement strategies through real-life case studies and a facilitated workshop that will explore common university-industry collaboration challenges.

Open to university staff and PhD students the masterclass draws on industry and university expertise to:

• Examine real life commercialisation pathways
• Understand industry’s perspective when it comes to negotiating collaborative research projects
• Build and maintain successful research collaborations
• Appreciate the investment and the spin out process.

Who can attend?

You are encouraged to apply for this masterclass if you: 

• Are a UNSW or Adelaide University researcher, e.g., Level A through to Level E academic 

• Have a genuine interest in collaborating with industry or would like to take your collaborations to the next level 

• Provide support to research staff and would like to know more about university commercialisation processes 

• Want to connect with like-minded colleagues who encourage innovation and research impact 

• Would like to hear directly from industry what they require to engage with universities.
