CMC & Corde in Concert: Echoes

Join the Collegium Musicum Choir and Corde for an evening of Urmas Sisask’s Gloria Patri and Maurice Durufle’s Requiem.

The program is filled with sacred tradition and mystic awe, from Durufle’s reflective and hopeful Requiem to Sisask’s interest in the idea of astrologically governed sounds. The works, composed 40 years apart, share a chant-like lyricism that is intoxicating and transporting, forming echoes of ancient desires for peace and serenity.
