Interested in becoming a citizen scientist? Join UNSW Sydney student Lachlan Gray for an introduction to bioinformatics – a low cost and high powered 21st century research tool used by researchers and citizen scientists alike.

Bioinformatics brings together the fields of life science, computer science and statistics, and Lachlan Gray will show you how when armed with nothing more than a laptop, internet connection and some basic coding skills, you can become a citizen scientist and conduct your own important research.

Location: Penrith City Library, 601 High Street, Penrith , NSW, 2750
