A bunch of anxious performers 'audition' for a variety show. They all have a special talent that may get them in the door. What makes them extra special is that these hopefuls characters are crafted out of cardboard, fabric, wire and plasticine.
This one-off animation screening is a celebration of work by last semester’s MDIA2000 Animating Media students and features stop-motion animations in different styles and mediums used to bring these handmade characters to life.
Program
3pm // Screenings begin - you are welcome to come and go throughout the afternoon.
5.30pm // A special 30 minute compilation highlighting the diverse approaches students took to the idea of the audition.
6pm // Join us for drinks in the foyer to celebrate the hard work put in throughout the previous semester to produce such charming pieces.
Works will then continue to screen informally until the event's conclusion at 7pm.

Io Myers Studio is located at the entrance to Gate 2 High St, Kensington. Look for the Creative Practice Lab neon sign in our foyer windows. Google Map
Parking
There is limited parking in the Gate 2 area around Io Myers Studio but free parking is available from 6:30pm in the car park next to NIDA accessed through Day Ave.
