Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) ushered in a new era of brain stimulation treatment in psychiatry.
Since FDA approval in 2008, advances in neuroscience techniques have facilitated the evolution of TMS to become more efficient and effective. This presentation will cover the evidence supporting the efficacy of TMS for the treatment of depression, the potential for TMS to improve cognitive functioning, the use of electroencephalography techniques to refine TMS protocol parameters and further improve outcomes, and the role of neuroimaging in personalising treatment.
Join this seminar by Professor Colleen Loo, Dr Adriano Moffa, Dr Stevan Nikolin and Dr Donel Martin.
