General Event Info
Who can attend?
Reel Treats is for UNSW professional and academic staff.
Do I need a ticket?
Yes. While the event is free to attend, registration is required so we can plan catering and accommodate dietary requirements. Please register for a ticket here. One ticket per staff member.
What ticket should I register for?
Please select the ticket that best suits your dietary needs. Details of what’s included with each ticket type are outlined below.
Standard Ticket
- Plain bagel with cream cheese OR scallion cream cheese.
Contains gluten, wheat and dairy. Halal-friendly, kosher certified and nut-free.
Gluten Free Ticket
- Gluten-free bagel with cream cheese OR scallion cream cheese.
Contains dairy. Halal-friendly, kosher certified, gluten- and nut-free.
Vegan Ticket
- Plain bagel with vegan cream cheese.
Contains gluten, wheat and tree nuts. Halal-friendly and kosher certified.
Vegan & Gluten Free Ticket
- Gluten-free bagel with vegan cream cheese.
Contains tree nuts. Halal-friendly, kosher certified and gluten-free.
Where can I collect my dietary option?
There will be clearly marked collection areas for dietary options. Please let staff know if you have registered for a vegan or gluten free ticket when collecting your items and our staff will guide you to the correct area.
Can I register for my team?
To help us manage catering and dietary requirements accurately, we ask that each staff member registers individually for their own ticket. The registration process is quick and easy, and should take less than five minutes to complete.
Can I collect for my colleague?
To ensure everyone has a fair chance to enjoy Reel Treats, we’re unable to allow collection on behalf of colleagues. Each attendee must be present with their ticket to collect their items, as quantities are limited to one bagel per person.
Where is the event located?
Reel Treats will be held at the Roundhouse at UNSW Sydney’s Kensington Campus.
How long will the Reel Treats be available?
Real Treats will run for three hours, from 10.00am to 2.00pm.
Can I change my session time?
Yes. If there are places available in another session, you can change your booking through Eventbrite. To do this, log in to your Eventbrite account, access your ticket, and select the option to change your session.
What should I bring?
Please bring both your ticket and staff ID card, as you'll need to show them to event staff upon entry to the Roundhouse. While you're packing, don't forget your water bottle and your favourite coffee or tea too.
Is photography allowed?
Absolutely! Feel free to take and share photos from the day. There will also be an official photographer capturing the event.

What public transport options are available?
The Roundhouse is easily accessible via public transport and the closest light rail stop is UNSW Anzac Parade (L3 line). The closest bus stop is UNSW Gate 2, High Street (348, 370). For more information please call the Transport Infoline on 131 500 or visit transportnsw.info.
Where can I park?
The Barker Street Car Park (Gate 14) parking station is the closest to the venue.
I work at the Paddington campus; how do I get to Reel Treats?
The UNSW shuttle bus service will be operating. A link to the timetable can be found here.
Accessibility
Where is the accessible drop off point?
The closest accessible drop off point to the Roundhouse is the north entrance via High Street, Gate 2, follow the road to Third Avenue and turn onto 1st Avenue West.
Hidden Disabilities
UNSW is proud to be a part of the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network. The Hidden Disability Sunflower is a tool to voluntarily share that you have a hidden disability. By wearing a Sunflower, you're just letting our staff know that you might need extra help, understanding, or just more time. Our security and event staff team at UNSW are trained to recognise the Hidden Disability Sunflower and assist where needed.
