UNSW’s Degrees & Scholarships Information Evenings

This event shares what you need to know about applying for a UNSW degree as a Year 12 student.

Registrations are now open to Year 12s and parents for UNSW’s Degrees & Scholarships Information Evenings. Join us at our Kensington campus as we cover everything to know about finding the right degree for you at UNSW.

Event dates:

• Tuesday,15 June
• Thursday, 17 June

Please select the date that best suits you. 

Parents are welcome to join us on the evening and will need to book separate tickets.

Why you should attend:

1. Get critical info on UAC, scholarships, admission and degrees.
2. The fun stuff won’t be missed, so you can start imagining uni student life.
3. We’ll keep it focused, you’ll just hear what’s important to know.
4. Current students will share their stories of transitioning from high school to uni, to give you a better idea of what to expect when you start.

Who you will hear from:

Experts from the Universities Admission Centre (UAC) will provide you with a guide for university entry, key dates and top tips to be aware of.

UNSW teams will give you the full picture of university study – starting with finding and getting into your dream degree, and exploring the important student services that will shape your experience while you study. Hear from:

• Student Accommodation
• Gateway; and
• EAPL (Elite Athletes, Performers and Leaders Program)

Get your questions answered.

Our friendly Student Ambassadors and staff can answer your questions before and after the event.

On both evenings, you are invited to stay back from 7:05pm until 7:50pm for the optional Accommodation, Gateway and EAPL (Elite Athletes, Performers and Leaders Program) expo upstairs.

For those who are regional and interstate, there’s a dedicated online Year 12 Degrees & Scholarships Information Evening on Wednesday, 16 June (6pm-7pm) to help prepare you for studying in Sydney, covering what you need to know when applying for your dream degree. Register here. 

*Please note that any tickets for non-Year 12 students who register for the on-campus events will be cancelled. Register for the livestreamed event instead to ensure you don't miss out.

In order to ensure a COVID-safe event, if you have been to Victoria or any of the NSW hotspots since Wednesday, 12 May 2021, you will not be able to attend this event. Please register for an online ticket.

This is a COVID-safe event. All attendees are required to read and adhere to the COVID-19 health and safety guidelines outlined by NSW Health and on the UNSW COVID-19 website, and have viewed the UNSW Safe Return to Campus training module.

You will need to check-in on arrival via QR code. If you are from any health vulnerable groups we encourage you to reconsider your attendance at this event and instead attend our range of future student events later in the year.
