It is one thing to define the Public Interest … it is another to determine the best way of serving the interests of the public.

This symposium jointly hosted by the Public Leadership Group at UNSW Canberra and the NSW Ombudsman’s Office explores the philosophical, polemical and political challenges associated with describing the public interest and examines the legal, ethical and institutional strategies for its promotion.
